EIA: Monthly Energy Review - June 2021 - eng (pdf) Избранное

On June 24, 2021, EIA released its primary report on recent and historical energy statistics, the Monthly Energy Review (MER). Preliminary estimates for March 2021 indicate the following:

  • S. primary energy production totaled 8.3 quadrillion British thermal units, a 2% decrease from March 2020. 
  • Fossil fuels accounted for 79% of U.S. primary energy production, renewable energy for 13%, and nuclear electric power for 8%. 
  • Compared with March 2020, U.S. coal production increased 11%, renewable energy production increased 9%, nuclear electric power production was virtually unchanged, dry natural gas production decreased 2%, natural gas plant liquids production decreased 3%, and crude oil production decreased 12%.
